0320L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 3/7/25
*Surface low pressure will push through the area today bringing strong westerly winds with it and pulling a front through the area this afternoon. Windy conditions will continue but not as strong as the last several days. Rain and MAYBE snow could affect the area on Saturday. Guidance isn’t set in stone for tomorrow yet so we’ll keep an eye out on that. Actual chances are low though.
Elevated fire weather conditions still exist so no prescribed/controlled burning is asked of everyone.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the upper 60s. West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid-30s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
