0420L-SATURDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-5/5/18

1-For you weather enthusiasts, the WSR-88D weather radar that is called the Vance radar at Kegelman Field is down. Technicians are aware and will have it operational hopefully today.

2-Another really nice day today with fairly light wind so get outside and enjoy.

3- Thunderstorms may be possible late Monday into Tuesday as another system moves through the area. Organized severe weather chances will be low. We’ll see what Mother Nature throws at us.

4- The fire danger is low so continue to be careful out there.

5- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-Sunny, with a high near 83. West wind 3 to 6 mph.

Saturday Night-Clear, with a low around 55. South southeast wind 5 to 8 mph.
