0310L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/9/24
*The rain is over and it’s hard to believe we’ve had over 7.5 inches of rain in the last week and a half, some even more. A lot of this rain came pretty quick therefore it ran off fast. We were in an Extreme drought and we have been lowered to a Severe drought. The up and coming week looks to be nice with highs in the 60s and lows in the upper 30s and low 40s.
*Thank you for posting your rainfall totals. Be sure to go out and empty your gauges. I have the NWS look at my social media pages and go through the list for totals. It’s easier than re-writing them. Again, thanks.
Overall, we’ll be ok so get outside and soak in some sunshine and enjoy the weekend. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
Tonight- Clear. Lows in the upper 30s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
Finally, use caution when driving on county roads as they can be deceiving after a lot of rainfall. County Commissioners will determine the conditions of the roads they closed due to washouts and bridge conditions.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
