0320L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 11/8/24
*FLOOD WATCH UNTIL 9PM TONIGHT. FLOOD ADVISORY UNTIL 4 AM THIS MORNING. We have received 2.10 inches of rainfall since midnight per my gauge at home. Rainfall will slow until the next wave comes through. We could see another 1-3 inches today so we’ll see what happens.
*We aren’t expecting any severe weather but some of the thunderstorms may be a bit intense so just be prepared for those. Remember to pay close attention to low lying areas and don’t drive into water rushing across the roads as the roads may not be there.

Today- Showers with a chance of thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall. Highs in the lower 60s. East winds around 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.
Tonight- Cloudy with showers with a chance of thunderstorms in the evening. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall in the evening. Lows in the lower 40s. Southeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph, becoming south around 10 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 90 percent.
