0405L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK AND INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-2/3/19

1) For Sunday, temps will be very warm for this time of year. Enjoy it while you can even though it’ll be very windy. That little saying I have about keeping a coat in the vehicle? By mid-week, you’ll need one once again.

2) Concerning mid-week; it might get a little sloppy so be prepared for either some showers or possibly a light snow event. It’s impossible to know what may happen for sure but I can say that coat will be needed.

3) Overall, we are still in wintertime so hopefully we’ll actually see some winter activity before we get into full-fledged storm season. Speaking on that, the NWS will be in Pond Creek on February 25th at 6:30. I will be scheduling additional classes here in Garfield County very soon. Details later.

4) Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Sunday-Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 68. South wind 16 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Sunday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 46. South wind 10 to 20 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
