0335L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-2/20/22

1- Really nice day today and Monday with highs in the 60s and 70s. The only issue will be the winds as they crank up due to a strong ARCTIC front that will invade the area early on Tuesday. For today, get out and enjoy the sun and stay out of the wind.

2- The FIRE DANGER is CRITICAL so be extremely careful when utilizing anything related to fire. We ask that there be NO CONTROLLED BURNING today through at least Tuesday. Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

 Today-Sunny. Not as cool with highs in the upper 60s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the mid-40s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts.

FINALLY; another winter storm event is coming and the most dangerous issue will be the WIND CHILL temps. Be prepared for this.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
