0335L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-7/11/21

1- We missed out on the storms but I am not complaining. As they formed, it made for some great pictures. I’ll try and post a few later today. Also, I have been out with Hillsdale-Carrier, Kremlin, and Enid Fire departments early this morning putting out wheat stubble fire cause by fireworks. REMEMBER that it’s ILLEGAL to fire them off of county roads. Thanks to all departments for the quick response this morning.

2- Today will be mild, not as humid since the front came through yesterday afternoon. The next chance for rain will be Thursday into next weekend. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Sunday-Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. North northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 62. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light east northeast after midnight.
