FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

First of all, THANK YOU to all that wished me a Happy Birthday yesterday. I am very humbled that so many did so. Again, THANK YOU ALL.
The rains fell yesterday and in some areas around 1.5 inches in a short amount of time. Today MAY be about the same as this low “slowly” moves east. We will have rain chances most of the up and coming week with a slight chance for possibly severe weather by Thursday. Don’t panic on that as wind and hail look to be the threats. We’ll see as the forecast verifies.

There were a few funnels reported yesterday with a few of these storms. Had they reached the ground, yes, they would have been” very weak” tornadoes. If you observe this feature today, CALL ME IMMEDIATELY OR MESSAGE ME ON MESSENGER. I don’t monitor Facebook all the time so a call is very important. Thanks.

For now, enjoy the fact that it’s too wet to mow and figure out what else to do around the house.

Here is your forecast For Sunday;

Sunday-60% chance for showers and possibly t-storms. Cloudy with highs around 79 with east northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday Night-20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am. Mostly cloudy with lows around 65. East northeast winds around 5 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY AND STAY SAFE
MIKE
