0355L-SUNDAY UPDATE FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/11/18

1- I hope everyone remembered to SPRING FORWARD by setting your clocks ahead last night.  This would be a great time to change out batteries in a smoke and/or carbon monoxide detector. It’s important to keep these batteries fresh. Make it happen!!

2- The front pushed through and we received zero rain. It appears we will be dry all week so remain vigilant in that if you see smoke and fire, call 911.

3-I want to remind everyone that we will be testing the storm sirens here in ENID each Monday at noon from now on. The first Monday of each month they will run for 3 minutes and shut down. Every subsequent Monday we will set them off for about 20-30 seconds and shut them down. PLEASE let us know if the siren nearest you did NOT work.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Sunday-Sunny with highs around 53. North wind 15 to 25 mph gusting to 30 mph.

Sunday Night-Clear with lows around 26. North wind 5 to 15 mph.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

MIKE
