0340L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/14/21

1- Looks like we lucked out and the forecast verified that those storms would weaken by the time they reached us. General showers with a few embedded thunderstorms can be expected here this morning as they gradually clear the area.

2- If you live around any type of waterway, keep an eye out for snakes. As we warm up, they wake up and will happily say hi when you least expect it. We really don’t need those surprises. As we continue into spring and we warm up, the skeeters will be on the loose too so dump out anything that collected water and stay in that habit all summer.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok and hopefully we’ll see some sunshine sometime later today. Next chance for rain is Tuesday evening. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

TODAY-Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 64. South wind 13 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

TONIGHT-Increasing clouds, with a low around 42. South southeast wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
