0430L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/7/21

1- SHORT AND SWEET TODAY: windy and warm so get outside and get some sun. Winds will be a factor today and through at least half the week. Keep your eyes peeled for smoke and fire. Call 911 if you see any anywhere out there.

2- I was informed there “may” be a controlled burn at VAFB this morning. If that occurs, it will be a bit smokey so if you have breathing issues and they do burn out there, just stay inside and everything should be ok.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny, with a high near 62. South wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Tonight-Clear, with a low around 40. South wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
