0335L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/29/23

*It was a bit noisy overnight but the front has finally managed to push through our area. There is a chance that we’ll continue to see some rain today but the main issue will be the wind chill. Use caution while outdoors and cover your skin as best you can.

*Temps will average in the mid-30s with wind chill temps in the mid-20s so again, be sure to cover up and wear a coat if you need to be outside. There will be a possibility of additional rainfall during the day too.

*Overall, we’ll be ok, just chilly. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Sunday- Rain showers with a chance of thunderstorms in the morning, then rain showers likely, a slight chance of thunderstorms and sleet in the afternoon. Little or no sleet accumulation. Near steady temperature in the mid-30s. North winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.

Sunday Night-Mostly cloudy with rain showers likely in the evening, then partly cloudy after midnight. Cold with lows in the upper 20s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
