0415L-SUNDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/30/18

DID YOU KNOW THAT TOMORROW IS NEXT MONTH? 2018 IS FLYING BY.

1-Looks like today through Wednesday will be almost hot with mild nights then rain chances move back in. The reason I say hot is because of the humidity. I am hoping that we don’t have this kind of humidity during the winter as given the right storm conditions; ice could play a big part. I didn’t just say that…

2- If you have outdoor plans for next weekend, keep up with the latest non-dramatic forecasts from the NWS/SPC and us of course at GCEM. Things change all the time but we don’t put out overexcited information. Remain calm and we’ll deal with it. 99.9% of the time, we’ll be ok. It’s that .1% we need to keep both eyes on things. Will next weekend be that .1% time? Don’t know yet but we’ll see what happens. Be sure to get our app!! GARFIELD COUNTY EM.  It’s FREE and we’ll push info to you and NWS warnings come through automatically.

3- Enjoy today as we will see the sun.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Decreasing clouds. Highs in the mid 80s. South winds 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight-Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.

STAY SAFE AND HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
