DIRECTOR’S COMMENT

First, sorry about the multiple tests around 1130 yesterday on our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. There was a glitch but it’s fixed now. Hopefully that doesn’t happen again. Yesterday the Garfield County Health Department released that there would be testing done this Friday from 10 am until 2 pm or so at the coliseum at the fairgrounds. The parameters for this have changed a little and they will re-post the update this morning. Things change hourly anymore and we are adjusting as quickly as we can so be prepared for these updates. Be sure and read the guidelines. There will be Sheriff Deputies and Enid Police out there so understand that this is normal under these conditions.

As you are aware, we had 4 positives as of yesterday and as we do additional testing, we’ll have more. Many of you are going out and about just to get out. I understand this BUT do the best you can to stay at home unless you have actual essential business to do. This virus for the most part is very survivable but if you have a weakened system, i.e. bad heart, lung issues, immune system issues, etc, it could be a VERY bad deal. Help us stop the spread by going out ONLY AS NEEDED. Keep the kids at home too.

WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION. HAVE A GOOD DAY!!

MIKE
