0335L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 4/3/25
No severe threat for today in our area but there is that chance for showers. Severe weather is possible down in southern Oklahoma so if you plan on traveling, check out the forecast guidance from the nearest NWS office for that area. Otherwise, we’ll deal with whatever mother nature throws at us.
NOTICE: We are forecast for freezing temps this weekend. It appears we’ll delve just below freezing on Sunday morning. There is a slight chance we could see some snow depending on the storm system that will be causing this mess so be prepared accordingly.
Overall, we’ll be ok. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Today- Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers. Highs in the upper 50s. East winds 15 to 20 mph.
Tonight- Mostly cloudy. Showers likely after midnight. Lows in the mid-40s. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
