FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-THURSDAY 8/31/17

DOWNLOAD OUR EMERGENCY APP“GARFIELD COUNTY EM” IT JUST MIGHT SAVE YOUR LIFE!
Nice weather prevails for the foreseeable future here in the northern Oklahoma region. There is a chance for rain tomorrow evening into Saturday morning so we’ll see if that occurs. We really can’t complain as our August weather was very mild with a lot of rainfall. Normally things are almost burned up due to heat and fires and right now, everything is green. Just remember the fire danger will increase dramatically when everything goes dormant for the winter.
Speaking of winter and being prepared and I will start the pestering on preparedness on Monday. September is PREPAREDNESS MONTH! I will post some info here but there will be a special preparedness section on our website, gcem.org hopefully by Monday. There are tips on preparedness that will be modified soon on our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app under “Being Prepared” too. Check them out.
