Enjoy our weather as it looks to be about the same through the Labor Day holiday. Temps will vary a little but overall, warm days and cool nights can be expected. Just keep in mind that fall and winter will be here before you know it. I wonder if our temps will be the same as they are now during the winter. We’ll see!!

Hurricane Harvey has shown many that emergency services can be overwhelmed. There are just so many responders and that’s it! Yesterday I spoke about preparedness here at home. In the event we were to have a major event here, YOU would become like so many you have seen on television, a FIRST RESPONDER. It starts in a neighborhood and spreads. How will government respond to your heroic efforts? That is yet to be determined since most folks don’t feel it will ever happen here. WHAT IF?

Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Wednesday-Sunny, with a high near 83. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday Night-Clear, with a low around 62. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Have a super day!!
