0318L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/14/23
*A trace of rainfall occurred yesterday as a wave of energy, though low, moved through the area. For today, there will be a slight chance for showers but the better chance will be late Thursday night into Friday morning. If rainfall does occur, we could see around a half inch or so. By the way, no severe weather is expected.
*Temps over the next 7 days will average into the mid-40s to mid-50s. Not bad for this time of the year. This weekend and next week look to be dry so we’ll continue to enjoy mild weather and quite a bit of sunshine. Winds will be increasing next week so be prepared for the chill they bring.
*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Partly sunny this morning, then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid-50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight- Cloudy. A slight chance of rain in the evening, then rain after midnight. Lows in the lower 40s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.
