0355L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12-20/18

1- WIND and the FIRE DANGER are the three words for the day. I won’t go into major detail as you all that follow me should already know what this means. For those that don’t, in a brief statement; Secure things at home, work, and no controlled burning today.

2-You will notice the winds increasing this morning and they should lighten up some by this evening. Ladies, today is a wear pants day. Overall, there will be dirt in the air so breathe carefully. You may even need a mask.

3- Download our app- GARFIELD COUNTY EM – you’re not prepared without it. I will post some info on our app tomorrow and I may even do an instructional video this weekend and put it on YouTube. We’ll see on that one.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Thursday- Sunny with highs near 53. North northwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Thursday Night-Clear, with a low around 30. Northwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
