0325L- TODAY’S OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-2/10/22

1- Another nice day today though cooler is on the table. We’ll have north winds for awhile and they will become westerly this afternoon. No major changes today.

2- Another stronger front will plow through the area on Friday bringing strong north winds and colder temps back into the area for Saturday. Winds will be northerly 15-25 mph.

3- We are in an EXTREME DROUGHT situation right now so if you see smoke or fire, call 911 so the proper response can be sent.

4- We are working on our update on our HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN. There are 2 surveys we would like you to take. Both links are on our website at www.gcem.org, and they will be right in front of your eyes when our website comes up. Help us out and take both surveys so we can move forward in our update.
