0305L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 02/15/24

*A weak cold front has traversed the area and it will be a bit windy through mid-day. It should remain sunny and winds will settle down becoming east-southeasterly later this afternoon. A stronger front will push in Friday morning and bring much cooler air with Saturday morning lows dropping into the mid 20’s. Wind chill temps could drop into the teens. Temps will increase slowly into next week and we should remain dry into at least mid-week.

*Overall, we will be cooler and skies should remain mostly clear. That said, here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph, becoming east 5 to 10 mph this afternoon.

Tonight- Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 30s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
