THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 1/2/25
*TODAY AND TOMORROW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE PROPERLY PREPARED FOR COLDER WEATHER. https://www.weather.gov/safety/cold
*A front will move through the area today but it won’t affect temperatures too much. Precipitation isn’t expected. Temps today and tomorrow will be slightly above normal and then the bottom will fall out this weekend. There are still many variables on the scenario for this weekend into next week but expect high temps next week to be in the 30s and lows around the 20 degree mark give or take. Precip chances this weekend are still a bit up in the air, so to speak, so we’ll get some better clarity on that on Friday.
Overall, we’ll be ok today. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 50s. South winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming west this afternoon.
Tonight- Mostly clear. Cold with lows in the mid-20s. North winds around 5 mph.
