0310L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 01/04/24

*Slight chance for some patchy fog in the area this morning. IF it comes in pretty thick, slow down and don’t overdrive road conditions. We are expecting a storm system in the area tonight and it might bring us some snow but more likely rainfall. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for counties to our west/northwest so if traveling that way, use caution late tonight and Friday.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny this morning, then becoming mostly cloudy. Patchy fog this morning. Highs in the upper 40s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight- Rain showers likely with a chance of snow showers in the evening, then rain and snow showers after midnight. Little or no snow accumulation. Lows in the lower 30s. East winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.
