0335L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 6/19/25
*No watches, warnings, or advisories from the sky due to storms for a few days. There are flood issues on some creeks, streams and rivers though. If you see barricades anywhere, DON’T DRIVE AROUND THEM, even though you think it’s safe. They are there for a reason.
*Heat issues could become a problem as we move forward. With all the rainfall and clear skies, we’ll heat up and it will definitely feel hotter than it ACTUALLY is. Pace yourselves as we do warm up and make sure you stay hydrated. I can tell you from experience that heat issues are no fun so pay close attention to how you feel while working outdoors and if you notice you’re not sweating, STOP what you’re doing and hydrate PROPERLY. I’ll post heat related graphics starting tomorrow.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 90s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight- Mostly clear. Humid with lows in the lower 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
