0355L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/04/21

1- NOTICE: THE VANCE WSR-88D WEATHER RADAR WILL BE DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE THIS MORNING BETWEEN 0700-1200 LOCAL TIME.

2- Cool once again today then high temps will start to climb. We should be back up into the low to mid 70s by this weekend. Lows will average in the 40s for the most part. Rain comes back into the picture the middle of next week. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Decreasing clouds. Highs in the upper 50s. South winds around 10 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 30s. South winds around 10 mph.

INFORMATION: I have received many complaints concerning the LOCAL WEATHER info on the GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. Folks have stated that they will delete it if the old info doesn’t come back. “IT WON’T” It’s gone forever. That particular provider is no longer in business. I had my app folks link directly to the NORMAN NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WEBSITE because that’s where you can get any weather info you would possibly need. If you want the forecast for our area, zoom in to the map that appears when you open it and tap Enid/Garfield County and there is your forecast. I will not be changing this unless a better than before product ever becomes available. If you feel you need to delete our app because of this, it’s your loss.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
