0335L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/05/2020

1- A surface trough will push through the area this morning bringing a wind shift. No cold air with this one to worry about. Winds won’t be a factor at all except the direction change and should stay around 10 mph. Otherwise, a nice day in store. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Thursday-Sunny, with a high near 72. Light and variable wind becoming north northwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Thursday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 47. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

DIRECTORS COMMENT

After today, I will be going back to post only on my website, gcem.org and on our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app under GCEM BLOG. I will post these links only on Facebook. I terminated my twitter account simply because I didn’t see the use for it anymore.

If we have a forecast event whether it be any kind of severe weather or a major event here in the county, I will post that info most likely in a live video on the EM PAGE ONLY.  That shortcut on facebook is @EGCEM.

As always, if you all need to contact me, email me or call as I don’t monitor social media during the day. I also DO NOT HAVE MESSENGER so email OR TEXT me if needed.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!

MIKE
