Wednesday Night-Mostly clear with a low around 45. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

DIRECTORS COMMENT:

Weather events, earthquakes, accidents, and just about anything you can think of can happen when you least expect it. I have been preaching, so to speak, about preparedness for over 24 years and folks still call and ask what they need to do. I could publish that info over and over and not very many folks would take the time to read it. WHY? Because they either ignore the facts or they reason in their own minds that it will NEVER HAPPEN HERE.

All I can do is keep that info out there and hope that folks TAKE THE TIME to research and learn for themselves. We have our gcem.org website and our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app both which are loaded with information.

We are going to suffer through several more winter storms this winter, then severe weather in the spring with thunderstorms, wind events, possible tornadic activity along with hail. Then we’ll deal with the FIRE WEATHER season which happens year round. Any of the above can hurt you and you should be PREPARED for these. Click this link and download our PREPAREDNESS GUIDE. Maybe, just maybe you’ll gain a bit more knowledge to better protect you and yours. https://gcem.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/FamilyPreparednessGuide2019.pdf

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
