FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

The year is winding down and it appears we will go out fairly peacefully. There are a few indications of some sort of storm system next weekend BUT that is a long ways out to say for sure what may happen. The picture attached below basically depicts WINTER here in Oklahoma. The date shows 2012 but it applies to 2016 too. Hope you like it.

Weatherwise, this week looks to be a mild one with temps averaging in the 50’s for highs and upper 20’s to low 30’s for lows. There may be a front or two push through the area but overall not too bad for this time of the year. All this said, keep in mind that this is winter and crazy things can still happen, so stay prepared and up to date with the NWS and with us at GCEM. Be sure and get our app GARFIELD COUNTY EM downloaded and learn how it works along with all the features.

Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday-Sunny, with a high near 53. Light and variable wind becoming south southeast 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

Tuesday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 33. South wind 7 to 9 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
