0330L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-1/04/22

1-Temperature swings and a few cold fronts will affect the area over the next several days. We expect a front late tonight into tomorrow which will lower temps about 10-15 degrees for Wednesday and then a strong front will push in Wednesday night into Thursday bringing a shot of ARCTIC air again knocking temps down into the 20s for highs on Thursday. YEP, keep the coats handy. Temps should recover over the weekend. Just expect the roller coaster of temps to continue.

2- The Fire Danger continues as all foliage is dead or dormant. As temps and humidity vary day to day, so does the danger so keep an eye out for smoke and fire and call 911 accordingly. That said, here is your forecast less graphics again from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday-Mostly sunny. Highs around 60. South winds 15 to 25 mph.

Tuesday Night-Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid-20s. Light and variable winds becoming northwest around 10 mph after midnight.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
