0310L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 7/9/24
*There won’t be a lot to discuss weather-wise this week as there are no storms to talk about, the temps will slowly rise back up into the 100’s by this weekend, and the winds will average 5-15 mph until Saturday when gusts could get up to around 20 mph or so. Skies will be mostly clear and overnight temps will average around 70, give or take.
*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs around 90. North winds 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the mid-60s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming south after midnight.
Finally, walk around the house and pour any standing water out from anything that caught water during the rains. These items can become mosquito havens. Let’s stop the spread of possible disease before it happens.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
