0320L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT  06/04/24

*We are in a SLIGHT/MARGINAL RISK for severe weather later today and tonight. Where will the storms fire up later today? Not sure per guidance but it might be in northern Oklahoma this time. The how, when, and where, are very questionable so we’ll have to wait and see. Either way, if storms occur, a low level jet may be involved enhancing the severity so we’ll keep an eye out and advise accordingly.

*As always, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy this morning, then becoming partly sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Some thunderstorms may be severe. Humid with lows in the mid-60s. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

*Be sure to download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. You’re better prepared with it, than without it.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
