0300L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT  06/03/24

*We are in a MARGINAL/SLIGHT Risk area for severe weather. We are looking at possibly 2, rounds either here or in the area. One Round this morning and another this afternoon into the evening and possibly overnite hours. Main threats will be large hail and damaging winds. The tornado threat is very low. See the graphics attached and read carefully. These may change some during the day so keep that in mind. We’ll have to wait and see what happens for sure.

*Overall, we should be ok. If we do see the storms, torrential rainfall along with the hail and winds will be an issue so be prepared just in case. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely this morning, then partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Tonight-Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Lows in the upper 60s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
