0345L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-5/4/21

1- Rain during the morning hours, then clearing. Not much precipitation is expected early today but temps will be mild but winds will be gusty. Wednesday looks good then a chance for rain comes in Wednesday night. Thursday and most of Friday looks good then a chance for thunderstorms come in Friday evening through at least Monday. ☹

2- The severe threat looks low throughout the week for us so far. We’ll see what happens. If you haven’t downloaded our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app, do so and learn how it works. Today-Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the mid-60s. North winds 15 to 20 mph with higher gusts. Chance of showers 40 percent.

Tonight-Clear. Lows in the lower 40s. North winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.
