0430L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/01/22

1- SEVERE weather is possible Thursday evening through Saturday. For us, possibly early Friday morning for a while would be our timeframe for severe if it occurs here. There is a storm system out west and a cold front involved and it appears the gulf opens up bringing descent moisture into the region. All of this and add a dryline along with instability and it could get interesting. Keep in mind that timing is the key factor. The other thing to watch is precipitable water values. Depending on the timing, we “could” see some heavy rainfall. WE’LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

2- We’ll have nice weather, though windy, until the arrival of all that mess above. Be prepared for some bumpy weather later this week. Be sure to get our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app and you’ll be as prepared as possible.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.

Have a good day!
