2- A cold front is headed our way so the wind gradient will be a little tight. This means that the winds will be gusty. We may see gusts upwards of 30 mph at times. Frontal passage should occur sometime early Wednesday morning. Our Fire Danger today is elevated and on Wednesday it could be in the critical area.

3- The above stated, no controlled burning today or Wednesday. It would be extremely difficult to control any fire so if anyone sees smoke or fire, report it immediately to 911 so the proper response can be sent. Thanks to the public for your help in this area to protect others.

4- All this stated, here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday-Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. South wind 7 to 12 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Tuesday Night-Partly cloudy, with a low around 45. South wind 9 to 18 mph becoming north after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
