0310L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/31/23

*A reinforcing cold front will push through today bringing with it colder air and gusty north winds. Wind chill temps will average around 32 and then drop below freezing by 7pm this evening. Parents wrap up the kids in their costumes and coats so they don’t get too cold while trick or treating. Temps tonight will probably fall into the low 20s by early Wednesday morning.

*No precipitation is expected today or tonight so we’ll see mostly clear skies, windy conditions, chilly temps, ghosts, and goblins. The winds should subside by sundown to around 5-10 mph.

*Overall, we’ll be ok just a bit cold so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday- Sunny. Highs in the lower 40s. North winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Tuesday Night- Clear, cold with lows in the lower 20s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming south after midnight.
