0300L- TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 9/24/24

*MARGINAL RISK for possibly some severe weather later today as another cold front moves into the area. Timing will be the main factor for severity. If storms occur, expect wind gusts of 60-80 mph along with quarter size hail and heavy rainfall. Timing will be anytime in the 3pm to 10 pm timeframe. No need to panic and this might change during the day. I’ll advise if needed.

Today- Partly sunny this morning, then mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds around 5 mph, becoming southeast around 5 mph this afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight- Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, then mostly clear after midnight. Lows in the mid-50s. North winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
