Yesterday’s rainfall in some areas of the county delivered around 2+ inches of rainfall. The only bad thing about it was it came within a short amount of time. That’s August storms for you. There is a chance for rainfall each day for the next 5 days but here in our area, it appears we may have possibly 2 days of mostly clear skies and warm temps mainly in the low to mid 80’s. What an August this has been!
Because of all the rain during this month, there is a lot of growth along the roads especially out in the county. SLOW DOWN near intersections if the grass is tall. Whether there is a stop sign, yield sign, or no sign, be that person that is cautious out there because if you don’t see them coming, it doesn’t always mean they’re not there. Your actions may prevent an accident.
Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Wednesday-Sunny, with a high near 86. East wind around 8 mph.
Wednesday Night-Mostly clear with a low around 60. East wind 6 to 8 mph.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
