0330L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/07/22

1- Very slight chance for fog this morning. Don’t hold your breath though. Rain is also possible later this morning but heavier amounts are expected along and south of I-40. The cold front that moved through the area is moving back to the north as a warm front and will have a better effect on us later this afternoon into the overnight hours. Nothing severe is expected. Another pacific front will push in Thursday morning and possibly another front on Friday. What a mess!!  Either way, we’ll survive so watch out for the drama on TV!

2- We are still in an EXTREME drought so fire weather concerns will continue. Call 911 if you see smoke or fire so the proper response can be sent.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Cloudy. Patchy fog this morning. A chance of rain showers this afternoon. Highs in the lower 50s. East winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Tonight- Showers. Near steady temperature in the upper 40s. East winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
