0305L- WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-02/08/23

*It’s still possible, per forecast guidance, that we may see some rainfall during the day. If we do, rainfall amounts should be low. A cold front will push in late tonight into Thursday increasing wind gusts upwards of 35-40 mph and dropping temps overnight into the 20’s with wind chill temps into the mid-teens.

*The FIRE DANGER will increase Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with dryer conditions, low humidity, and strong winds. Since we aren’t getting any rainfall, at least right now, use extreme caution when utilizing anything related to fire. If you see smoke or fire, call 911 immediately so the proper response can be sent.
