0315L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 01/24/24

*DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON TODAY. TEMPS WILL STAY ABOVE FREEZING BUT WHILE DRIVING, USE EXTREME CAUTION ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.

*Today will be another foggy & rainy day so staying inside looks to be THE thing to do. We may get to see the sun on Thursday and possibly Saturday. Sunday into next week looks pretty good right now for seeing the sun again too. We’ll see what happens.

*Overall, we’ll be ok, just a bit soggy, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Cloudy. A slight chance of drizzle this morning. Areas of dense fog this morning, then patchy fog this afternoon. Highs in the mid-40s. North winds around 5 mph.

Tonight- Cloudy. Patchy fog in the evening, then areas of fog after midnight. A slight chance of showers after midnight. Near steady temperature around 40. North winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

**STORM SEASON is just around the corner. This is the time many get really scared. No reason to be. I will be talking about this in detail as we move further into late Winter and Spring. Remember, I don’t do this job for Ratings, I do this for PUBLIC SAFETY!

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
