0255L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 7/24/24
*Temps in the 90s have returned and this weekend, we’ll climb into the 100s, most likely on Sunday. Next week we will return to very hot temps with the Heat Index in the 100s so enjoy the 90s as we’ll return to hotter temps early next week.
*We shouldn’t see any thunderstorms during the next week or so. There have been a few earthquakes in the south-southeast portions of the county so if you have sustained any substantial damage from them, let us know.
*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the mid-90s. South winds around 5 mph, becoming east this afternoon.
Tonight- Clear. Lows in the upper 60s. Southeast winds around 5 mph.
