Evening Weather Outlook from Garfield County Emergency Management – 7/8/2026
As we head into the evening, temperatures will remain very warm after another day with highs near 101°F. While most of the area will stay dry, there is a slight chance (20%) of an isolated shower or thunderstorm through the evening hours.
Overnight, skies will become mostly cloudy with temperatures only falling to around 77°F. Another slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm returns after 1:00 AM, but widespread rainfall is not expected.
If you’re spending time outdoors this evening, continue to take precautions against the heat. It will remain warm and humid well after sunset, so be sure to stay hydrated and check on those who may be more sensitive to the heat.
