0310L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 6/25/25
We will continue to be in a General Thunderstorm Risk area for the rest of this week. Chances remain less than 10%. The HEAT INDEX will be pushing upwards to the 100 to 105 degree mark so use extreme caution while working outdoors. At least we will have a breeze outside.
Yesterday, I posted info on fireworks according to state law. It is posted on my emergency management page on facebook. Here is that shortcut “on” that venue- @EGCEM and yes, it’s all caps. Please adhere to what this states. We don’t want anyone to lose a crop because of negligence.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 90s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 70s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, diminishing to around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph after midnight.
