0330L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/16/22

1-RED FLAG FIRE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON UNTIL 7PM THIS EVENING. Strong winds, low humidity, and temps in the upper 70s to low 80s are expected.

2- Other than the above, a normal day in northern Oklahoma, We had several fires yesterday and was able to get them contained. Today may be a different story depending on where they occur. We ask that there be no controlled burning and please don’t throw cigarette butts out of your car/truck window.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny, breezy with highs in the upper 70s. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

Tonight-Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper 40s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph after midnight.
