0320L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 3/26/25

Looking at radar at 3 am there were actually thunderstorms in the southern part of the state. It appears we will miss this mess today. Look at the 7 day graphic and read below each day. Hopefully it’ll change some. If you plan on traveling, stay aware of the potential for severe weather down south. The main threat there will be hail. We have at least a 20% chance for rain later tonight. We’ll see what happens…

As for here, dry, dry, dry, and the fire danger is elevated.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming southeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph this afternoon.

Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the mid-50s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
