0315L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 3/27/25

*Elevated Fire Weather conditions expected today from 1pm until 7pm. Strong winds, low humidity, and temps in the 80s, will all be factors under these conditions. NO controlled burning today especially due to the winds.

There will be a front move through the area later on Saturday bringing rain chances near and east of I-35. It doesn’t appear we’ll see any rainfall with this front either but we are in a MARGINAL risk for thunderstorms. We can only hope at this point.  We’ll see what happens.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny, with highs in the low 80s. South winds 15-25 mph gusting up to 35 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Breezy with lows in the lower 50s. South winds 15-25 mph gusting up to 35 mph.
