*We are in an ENHANCED RISK for severe weather later this afternoon and this evening. All hazards are possible. SEE GRAPHICS FOR DETAILS and remember that these will change some during the day.

**Due to the ENHANCED RISK for severe weather later today and tonight, the scheduled Storm Spotter Class from 6 to 8pm tonight is CANCELED. The morning class from 10 am until noon is not canceled and will be conducted. By the way, there is NO CHARGE for this class. They are free. We never charge to do these classes. The evening class will be rescheduled for next week. I will let you know what evening it will be conducted. Thanks for understanding. We may even do an online class someday.

Weather-wise, as stated above, we do have a threat for severe weather later today and tonight. We will watch these closely and probably do short live updates on social media and if the tornado threat increases, we’ll stay live and update as needed.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Some thunderstorms may be severe with damaging winds. Highs in the upper 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight- Showers with thunderstorms likely. Some thunderstorms may be severe in the evening. Lows in the lower 60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph, becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 80 percent.
