0355L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-5/20/2020

1-One more good day then we transition into a rain pattern which will last through the holiday weekend, of course. There is a low chance for storms during the overnight tonight but most likely we’ll have a few in the area by Thursday morning. Anyone who may be afraid of storms should prepare for some noise any time after 2 to 3 am tomorrow morning through the day.

2- If you plan on traveling into the western Texas Panhandle or south in the main body of west Texas or eastern New Mexico, keep a close eye on forecasts and changing weather conditions. In western Oklahoma, the threat goes up on Thursday afternoon and evening. All graphs attached will change several times throughout the week so keep that in mind. Overall, we’ll be ok so make sure you have our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. We’ll advise as needed.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Partly cloudy. Highs around 80. East winds around 10 mph.

Tonight-Partly cloudy. A slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Lows around 60. East winds around 10 mph. Chance of thunderstorms 20 percent.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
