0410L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-5/6/2020

1-There is a GENERAL RISK for thunderstorms early this morning then a nice day on tap.  If you can get outside, do so and enjoy. Showers and thunderstorms will be on the menu early Thursday morning lasting all day. A cold front will move in late Thursday afternoon or evening bringing colder temps in for overnight lows. We’ll see what happens.

2- This is turning out to be a slow severe season and I am not complaining. Enjoy the mild weather as very humid and muggy conditions will return in the next week or so. Overall, we’ll be ok. We’ll watch and advise as needed.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 70s. Northeast winds around 10 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear. A slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 50s. Light and variable winds becoming southeast around 10 mph after midnight. Chance of thunderstorms 20 percent.

No Directors Comment today. Have a good one!!
